The pictures were cropped using the Creative Memories Personal Trimmer. The accents were added from the Black Stick On Rhinestones 5mm (200 pc). To create the title, Scraps from the Creative Memories Storybox pages used on this page were trimmed with the Creative Memories Personal Trimmer and then layered. The Title was handwritten on using Creative Memories Pens, which are no longer available.

Diecuts with a View 12 Inch by 12 Inch Travel Paper Stack starts off the page with this beach background. Cordinating colors of Yellow and Tan Cardstock taken from paper purchased from A.C. Moore in their paper by the pound packages were used with the Creative Memories Tearing Tool to create the bottom boarder. Photos were cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System in conjunction with the Gemstone Patterns using a variety of tan, yellow and turquiose cardstocks. Various stickers from Touch Of Jolee's Dimensional Sticker-Coastal Light as well Sticko Stickers-Maine were added throughout the page. Finally, the title was created using Cricut Disney Cartridge, Mickey Font with the Cricut Machine.

The page began using the Disney 12 x 12 "Four Parks-One World" Scrapbooking Kit. Comes complete with Paper, boarders, punchouts, and stickers. Here I used the Purple based Epcot page. Creative Memories Storybox paper was used to create the mattings for two of the photos. The leftover paper from the matting was then placed behind the remaining two photos in a way to add some interest. To finalize the page various stickers and velumns were added from a variety of preivously used sets. I try never to toss any leftover paper or stickers from sets as I have often found a way to use them again later.

The page began using the Disney 12 x 12 "Four Parks-One World" Scrapbooking Kit. Comes complete with Paper, boarders, punchouts, and stickers. Here I used the a Four Parks themed paper for the downtown Disney idea. The photos were trimmed using the Creative Memories Personal Trimmer to 2 1/2 inches by 6 inches and placed onto a 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of black cardstock. Each photo is aligned to create a solid box with enough space in between to allow the larger matting to show through. A final photo was trimmed to 2 1/2 x 5 inches and placed onto a 3 x 6 matting cut using Creative Memories Storybox paper to the left leaving room for a flatten penny souvieneer to be placed onto the right. Title was created using leftover paper scraps too good to toss and the Cricut Disney Cartridge, Mickey Font (on sale at time of posting for $29.99) with the Cricut 29-0001 Personal Electronic Cutting Machine.

Norway Disney Style @ Epcot

The page began using the Disney 12 x 12 "Four Parks-One World" Scrapbooking Kit. Comes complete with Paper, boarders, punchouts, and stickers. Here I used the Gray Tone on Tone Epcot page to showcase Norway. Frames for two of the photos were used from the punchouts. The remaining two photos were matted using Creative Memories Storybox pages. The PhotoPass (which is a must have for all the parks. If you haven't been it is free to optain and used throughout the parks that the professionals take your photo and add to the card. You then can go home and download only the photos you wish to have. You can purchase package deals at that time, or opt not to have any at all) Accents were added from a variety of leftover sticker packs as well as from the kit itself. Finally the Title was created using leftover paper scraps too good to toss and the Cricut Disney Cartridge, Mickey Font (on sale at time of posting for $29.99) with the Cricut 29-0001 Personal Electronic Cutting Machine.

Block style was used to place the photos onto the page with a space filled with blue cardstock and corners cropped using the Stampin' Up Scallop Trim Corner Punch. Various leftover letters in coordinating colors were then placed along this cardstock and creates the title. Closing out the page accents remaining from Creative Memories Cheerful Winter 12x12 Additions package.

Both photos and matting were cropped using the Creative Memories Personal Trimmer to 2 1/2 x 4 and then placed block style onto the page. Blank areas were filled in using the same paper as the matting again cropped to similar size and placed onto the page for maximum coverage. Accents included items obtained from the college as well as Moving Stickers.

A multi-striped 12 x 12 paper was used to get this page started. A pale green cardstock was cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System with the Wavy Frame Patterns. Photos were cropped using the same system and pattern and placed in the center of each matting. Accents from various sets were placed along the page. The Orange Letting for the title was placed along side one of the photos and all matting was then traced using an Orange Creative Memories Bold Pen.

Photos matted with Creative Memories Storybox paper punched with EK Success Paper Shapers Corner Adorner Slot Punch, Simplicity was placed onto of this combination in various angels as well. A Relax Vellum was attached to a scrap from the matting and a butterfly brad placed for punch. Finally a rub on tone on tone boarder and letter was placed along the bottom to create the title.

This printed pale yellow and black 12 x 12 gets this page jumping from the beginning. The photos were cropped using the Creative Memories Personal Trimer and then matted using Creative memories black storybox paper as well as a pale yellow storybox paper. The double matting was trimmed using the same Personal Trimmer and all was placed with yellow eyelets from Eye-Lets Etc. 4400-Piece Basic-Shaped Eye-Let Assortment Kit and set into place with the Provo Craft Silent Setter Hammerless Eyelet Tool Set. The title was created using the scrapes from the matting and placed in alternate pattern. Creative Memories Bold Black Pen was used to continue the pattern from the background onto the Title and the Lettering is Creative Memories Black.

Creative Memories birthday themed paper began this page. Cordinating paper also included in the set was used for the Title which was created using Creative Memories Navy Lettering as well as the matting of the photos which was left oversized on one side of two of the photos. The lighter blue paper was then punched using the Creative Memories Make A Wish Star Maker. The punched out stars were then reassembled on the darker blue matting. The final photo was anchored using baby blue mini brads. The Creative Memories Boarder was added at the bottom of the page and then accents of stickers included in the birthday themed paper as well as punches made using both the Creative Memories Star Maker and the Creative Memories Ltd Edition Embossed Star Maker.

The remaining photo was offset from another page from this set and grey accent marks were added thorughout the pictures. The boarder is created using DCWV Rockstar Adhesive Ribbon and Black and white Letter Brads. The Road Trip Velumn is from Creative Memories Expressions of Travel with an added accent from their Cheerful Winter Additions. Finally the page was completed by adding the Lighthouse and the birds from Jolees A Touch Of Jolees Dimensional Stickers, Coastal Lighthouse with the red section removed above the doorway of the lighthouse.

Making Memories Brads circle pastel package of 50 with flags accent while holding in place the photos along with the backgrounds. Creative Memories Puzzle shape maker was used on the top left photo and then the photo was reassembled with pieces placed in various places on the page. The Title was created using Creative Memories Calendar Month Titles Stickers and remaining clear vellumn stickers.

This page started out with selecting the orange page from DCWV PS-005-00071 12 by 12 Mariposa Solid Premium Stack. A photo taken during the Creative Memories Mardi Gras Croppers Retreat was placed inside the frame provided during the event and created using the Creative Memories Storybook Creator 3. The Purple and yellow mask is a Creative Memories giveaway during the event and created using Reminisce Accents Cartridge available through Creative Memories. Additional masks were added from a package from Michael's. The boarder was created using two different Martha Steward Decorative Tape Ribbons along with Martha Stewart Crafts Halloween Candy Corn Gemstones. The final added printoout was the label from the bag used for scraps.

A 12 x 12 travel page from a complete set purchased was used to start off this page. Blue cardstock purchased by the pound at A.C. Moore provided the matting for each of the pictures as well as the title. Both photos taken and a postcard were used along with the ticket from the ride. A turquoise paper also from the bulk purchase was used for the second matting on the title. Creative Memories Calendar Month Titles Stickers finished the title. The page was completed with Casino Themed Stickers remaining from other pages in the past.

2011 Bringing in the New Year

This year we celebrated the new year in New York. Hyde Park to be exact. The 12 x 12 page comes from a set purchased for traveling. Several pieces of paper by the pound from A.C. Moore were placed for both the title and to bring out the photo of the family. The Title was made using silver letters with black accents of stars and confetti. Adhesive buttons and Creative Memories stickers leftover from a birthday set were added to finish out the page.

DCWV PS-005-00090 12 by 12 Mango Frost Solids. A Kelly Green Cardstock purchased by the pound at A.C. Moore to form the matting using the Creative Memories Personal Trimmer. The Title was created using the same process and Orange Block lettering stickers. Handwritten labels were placed on the food photos using the Creative Memories Bold Green Marker on the Creative Memories StoryBox Paper. Final accents were added using food related stickers from a pack previously used.

A Purple cardstock was trimmed using the Creative Memories 12-inch Rotary Trimmer and the photos were cropped with the Pinking Hearts Corner Punch. Gold lettering was used to create the title and to identify the art exhibit. Accents added are brads remaining from previously used set.

This off Black background came from Diecuts With A View 12 by 12 La Creme Solid Coordinates. A Black and white Ribbon given to me by my mother for which she purchased from the material factory was used as the boarder. The photos were printed and used as they were taken. No special black and white printing required. Black & White Storybox provided the matting for the photos and journeling boxes. A letter announcing the concert that arrived from the charity, which I cropped and placed inside one of the journeling box. I used the Creative Memories Bold Pen in Black for the Journeling in the box. Finally, the accents of Creative Memories musical notes were placed onto the page and boarder.

Creative Memories Rugged Storybox was used to create the matting for the photos which were cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System, the Jumbo Wavy Square Pattern, and the Grip and Clip. I really love the way this new Grip and Clip allows you to take multipal pictures and group them into one large photo. The Title was Created using Simply Beautiful Decorative ABC Stickers and accents of butterflies were added which I believe also came from Creative Memories.

The Simply Beautiful Storybox by Creative Memories was used to create the frames and matting for the photos which were all cropped using the Creative Memories cutting cutting system with the Gem Patterns. Eye-Lets Etc. 4400-Piece Basic-Shaped Eye-Let Assortment Kit were placed using the Provo Craft Silent Setter Hammerless Eyelet Tool Set to anchor the photos into place. A velumn phrase was added to accent the page along with a title using a mixed brown lettering.

Two seperate Scrapes created the background for the title in different textures but same colors to add interest. As our first day off the ship on Day 3 we take a 5 hour Tour of the Island. The 12 x 12 page was the starting point. This event took place on the Royal Caribbean Cruise to Bermuda. The two contestants not exactly schooled in the art, but had a fantastic time giving it a try. The 12 x 12 paper came from the package purchased during the scrapbooking class I attended onboard. On the left a scrap orange paper was trimmed using the Creative Memories 12-inch Rotary Trimmer with the Wavy Rotary Blade to match the lines of the paper diecut yellow frames. A bit of color is added by using a small ribbon trim with orange and yellow dots. Cutting Edge 40 Piece Alphabet-And-Numbers Paper Punch Set Case created the letters for the Title which was placed onto a memo block supplied in another set for which I have forgotten the name. Finally accents were added using Creative Memories Stickers.

The Title for the Day was again from the pamplet. Scrap paper previously trimmed using the Creative Memories 12-inch Rotary Trimmer with the Wavy Rotary Blade was placed horizonally on the page and then overlapped with Martha Stewart 7 Boarders Rub-On Transfer. A Boarding pass was then added to the bottom left of the page. The final accent is the Jolees Boutique Title Wave Stickers, Cruise Adventure

This colorful 12 x 12 paper came from the book, paper, sticker, and boarder quick kit purchased as a set. The Lime Green paper used for the mattings are from the Creative Memories Simply Beautiful Storybox. The Matting and Photos were cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System and Gemstone Diamond Pattern. The area came from the quick kit and I used it to remember where each photo was taken aboard ship. The explore and discover came from the quick kit. Accents of adventrue and Royal Caribbean logo were from the kit from the scrapbooking class on board. Glitter and gem adorned floral accents and insects were given to me as a gift and I am unable to recall the name of the set. The ribbon that creates the stem of the photo created flower is made using a shimmering peach spool.

The Yellow paper used for the mattings are from the Creative Memories Simply Beautiful Storybox. The Matting and Photos were cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System and Oval Patterns. The Ribbon, Journeling area, and Letters all came from the quick kit. My Story Journeling completed to rember when and where the animals came from. Finally the remaining accents of stateroom, ocean view, and Royal Caribbean logo were from the kit from the scrapbooking class on board.

Lighthouses Seen from the Ship

Items Used:

As we departed Baltimore we continued to pass several lighthouses. The ones I was able to capture on film as the night came in are illustrated on this 12 x 12 background purchased onboard during the Scrapbooking Event I attended on Day 2 of the trip. All 6 lighthouses were identified using Lighthouse Spotter's Guide which I carried with me for just this purpose. The photos and the matting were then cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System and the oval patterns. The paper used to creating the mattings were then used to make frames on the paper as well. Overlapping between frames and matting. Numbers were placed inside each circle which was either created using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System and the circle patterns or the ones provided in a kit purchased with all cordinating colors. The Title My Favorite Things came from said kit and journeling was done to identify each lighthouse with it's appropriate number. Lighthouse Prism stickers finalized the page.

Arrival to the Cruise

This 12 x 12 background came from a set I purchased onboard during a scrapbooking class on Day 2 of the trip that included the scrapbook, paper, and accents.The photo were cropped using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System with the Oval Patterns as were the matting which was a blue and white printed 4 x 4 square. I think the way the pattern shows through behind the photos created a interesting effect that matched the pattern the paper had as a boarder. Paper received as stationary aboard the ship was used to help frame in the photos. The Baltimore sticker comes from the Reminisce Jet Setters Self-Adhesive Epoxy Embellishments-Maryland and the remaining accents from the Jolee's Boutique Dimensional Stickers - Ferry Trip. The parking pass located on the page was trimmed using the Creative Memories Corner Maker.

This colorful orange, white, and blue 12 x 12 background came from a set I purchased that included the scrapbook, paper, and accents. It was intended to be able to create a full album by following page by page of layout designs; however, I simply cannot do that. So instead I used some of the pieces and added some of my own. The paper used for the matting of the photos which were cut using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System with the Circle Patterns came from this set as did the boarder placed at the bottom of the page, and the smile sticker, lettering, and paper used for the title. The Activity listing was provided in a paper that was placed on our beds every evening to allow us to plan the next day. I trimmed the corners using the Creative Memories Corner Maker. The Final accent added was the Royal Carribbean ship sticker provided in the set purchased during an onboard scrapbooking lesson on Day 2 of our journey.

May 2010 Mother's Day Lighthouse Visit

This 12 x 12 blue and white page starts out the collection of photos taken at Concorde Point Lighthouse. This is actually the lightkeepers home which at one time was in the same area as the lighthouse; however, since the street has been expanded it is now on the other side of the street. The photos were trimmed to a 2 x 2 square using Creative Memories Personal Trimmer and placed on Teal colored pages from Creative Memores Storybox but I have forgotten which set. Two photos were taken of the same area and just happened to work out that they overlapped one another. So the sunken area of the way the office was and the raise area where my son stood over to look down into the office worked out that they presented this fantastic opportunity to overlap. The way the patterns turned out makes me think that we are looking through a window to the views we now see on the page. I personally am loving this effect. Accents were added using several various leftovers to include Reminisce Jet Setters Self-Adhesive Epoxy Embellishments-Maryland

The paper background on the top right picture came from this set as did the circles, boarder, and the tags for which I entered the names of all the trip takers. The Paper behind the other picture was provided as stationary onboard. I of course brought home several pieces thinking scrapbooking frames for pictures. As you can see this thought came in handy. The pictures as well as the matting corners were made using the Fiskars 12-23317097 3-in-1 Corner/Border Punch, Lace To close out this page, I used Jolee's Boutique Dimensional Stickers - Ferry Trip along with some leftover travel stickers from other sets.

April 2010 Birthday Gift

Simply Beautiful Tone-on-Tone Paper provided the 12 x 12 background for this wonderfully pink page. My daughter purchased this huge personalized fortune cookie from bouquets.com. Creative Memories Custom Cutting System with the Oval Patterns were used to crop the photos and matting. The new Creative Memories Wavy Tearing Tool created the strips of contrasting paper located at the bottom and center of the page. The paper was thru color and the edges were lightened using the Chalking Ink-Ltd Ed in white. Accents from the package to include the ribbon, card, fortune, and sticker. Pink glitter cardboard letters created the title.

Diecuts with a view 12 x 12 Friends and Family provided this background. The Creative Memories Custom Cutting System with the Oval Patterns were used to cut the pictures and mattings for the photos. The Simply Beautiful Decorative ABC Stickers provided the lettering for the title. The location sticker came from Reminisce Jet Setters Self-Adhesive Epoxy Embellishments-Maryland.
